Andy Murray Is Out Of The Olympic Games
Well what better way to say “good morning” than watch a British hopeful get knocked out from the Olympic Games in the first round against a virtual unknown. Woohoo. That’s put me in a great mood for the rest of the day.
The fact is though, his opponent, Lu Yen-Tsun would have given any of the top 10 players a run for their money today because he was insanely good. Taking the first set after a tie-break 7-6 he took the second set 6-4 after a couple of long deuce games.
Murray seemed tired and frustrated but still played a relatively ok match despite problems with his second serve. Lu Yen-Tsun on the other hand either played the match of his life or is a serious contender to become a future Top 20 player. Considering he’s a relative unknown, if he’s consistently churning out performances like that he should be playing more Grand Slams.
On a side note, well done to Nicole Cooke yesterday who secured the UK’s first gold.

Andy Murray Olympics
He is not quite out - He and Jamie just made a great fight back from a set down to beat the Canadians in the doubles event.
Andy played poorly today in the important parts of the match, I don’t think that Lu Yen-Tsun was that good.
