Katy Perry’s “Hot & Cold” From “One Of The Boys” Music Video Features (More) Hot Dog Suits, Weddings and Rubbish Dance Moves

The new Katy Perry video is both a success and failure at the same time. Whilst I applaud the cheesey song-writing and production values for this track, I simply can’t help but think I’ve seen one too many pop videos with chase scenes, weddings and most importantly hot-dog outfits. What is it with music video directors and hot dog suits?
By the way, does the song remind anyone of LFO’s “Every Other Time”?
6/10.

There is no doubt that Hot & Cold is a very catchy song. I don’t think Katy shows much integrity or any real passion beyond collecting a paycheck. The obvious notion is in the novelty of her songs.
I HYPED Katy Perry on EverHYPE and scored it 63%, which I think is very accurate.

If you get on there, rate me a 5 on it and request friendship.
